All You Really Need In Life...
Self-respect...if you don't love yourself, no one ever will. Be your own best friend, not your worst enemy.
Family...whether it be blood or simply online sisses, we all need relatives...someone we can relate to.
Perseverance...the ability to pick yourself up and try again no matter how your heart may ache. (Try singing I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor...that's always worked for me!)
An aimless hobby...something that you can drown yourself in when things and times are tough.
An impossible dream...though it may be unattainable, it will keep you looking toward the future, and also keep you young at heart.
Faith in love...one thing that I have learned is that love truly is the most wonderful feeling in the world...never give up hope that your prince/princess will come...they will...if you believe.
Honesty...if you are always honest, it will be hard for others to be less than honest with you...also, devotion...stand by those you most love through ANYTHING, that way when you need someone most, you will never need to worry about being alone. Also always stand up for what you believe in...you have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
Patience...good things DO come to those who wait. Rash decisions too often lead to regret.
Understanding...the ability to understand the things we fear so that we may overcome them, and also the ability to change the things we can, and the strength to accept the things that we cannot.
Forgiveness...and also the ability to forgive. We are all only human...don't carry grudges, they'll only weigh you down.
Plain and simple love...whether you love a person who returns your affections, or you love your favorite t.v. show, feel intensely about SOMETHING...it gives life meaning.
Life itself...it's simply all you need to survive. Never give up on yourself or sell yourself short. Life is the most precious gift you can receive, and in turn, is the greatest thing you can ever lose. In this world, we ALL matter...when we WANT to.
