LET IT SNOW!Hot Reads for a Cold WinterDid you sign up for theLET IT SNOW reading club for grown-up humans? You can get mugged |
I wish someone would open this door. |
I don't mind a little snow. |
The Kent District Library does this every winter. Curl up with ten good books (or even ten lousy books) between December and March, and complete and submit your entry form at the library (I usually am lying next to or on the forms). This year, you can also enter a drawing for mysterious prizes if you read five more books. I never get a mug, because I curl up ON the books instead of WITH them. But that is fine with me, because my snoot won't fit in the mug anyway. Aside from the mug, humans probably enjoyed the fifth annual LET IT SNOW! celebration that was held last year on April 22, 1999 at the Gerald R. Ford Museum in downtown Grand Rapids. The celebration featured romance writer Debbie Macomber. But they don't allow cats, so I was not there. Deuce =^..^= |
