The Curse of Monkey Island
by Lucasarts was released in Winter of 1997. As a third part to the well-respected
series
of Monkey Island (The
Secret of Monkey Island & LeChuck's Revenge) it had a lot to live up
to. And the producer of the first Monkey Island games, Ron Gilbert, had
nothing to do with CMI. But, the game turned out very well. A graphic masterpiece,
each scene is beatifully colored to look like the real carribean. The voice
acting is incredible with more than 8,000 lines of dialouge in the whole
game. The plot was pretty interesting and the puzzles were great as the
blended well with the storyline. The Curse of Monkey Island is a great
addition to the timeless Monkey Island Saga.
