"If I read a book and it makes my whole body so cold no fire can ever warm me, I know that is poetry." Emily Dickenson

I have published a book.
"A twisting nightmare to the depths of the mind where the eternal battle of good and evil just might steal your mind or your soul."

An essay I wrote will be featured in the Sept/Oct webzine for Freedom Chronicles. Check it out for some compelling essays.

Check out some classical work. Featured authors, those old relics, Tennyson and Shakespeare. This section also includes a portion dedicated to the poets of the Harlem Renaissance, modern poetry, and women's poetry.

As his memories fade so does she.
That is the only place she still roams,
in the depths of his mind.
It was hard to remember the color of her eyes.
Back then they had spoken to him without words.
But now...
It all was slipping away slowly.
The color and detail bleeding into transparency.
But she hadn't dissappeared all together.
A tear escapes his eye,
and a smile escapes his lips.
He thinks about her now while he can.
His smile broadens.
Her eyes were green with soft orange flecks.
Angels dance somewhere.
Other things surface about her.
Her smile, her hair.
The sky is clear as he walks to her year by year.
Whistling the whole way.
