James actually began his professional acting career off-Broadway in Edward Albee's "Finding the Sun". He followed that with a role in "Shenandoah" at the Goodspeed Opera House. He made his film debut in 1995's Angus. Attending college, starring in a hot new series, and the boy still has time to appear off-Broadway in "My Marriage to Ernest Borgnine". But it's definitely "Dawson's Creek" that has everyone taking notice. Even though it's a bit hard to believe these kids are really 15 (James will be 20 next month, and he looks it), the series still shines above the rest, with good scripts and a lot of chemistry among the leads. Let's hope the WB holds onto this one. Up next: opposite Dylan McDermott and Usher in Texas Rangers, out in April.
