At a school assembly, the principal wanted to recognize the students going to All-State Band tryouts. All the students who were going to try out were asked to stand. As i heard my name being called out, i was taking off my sweatshirt(of course I had a t-shirt underneath). So i pulled my sweatshirt off quickly and stood up. Suddenly i felt a draft. It was close to the end of the year, so everyone had cameras at school. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to get a pic of me and this cool senior that i had liked. I was wearing this kewl tank top and i i looked great.I punt my around around him, but before my bud could snap the shot, my crush pulled away from me and asked if i ever use a razor-I'd forgotten to shave my underarms! My cousin and i were camping out in her new tent. I woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea, and i couldn't get the tent unzipped.Before i could wake my cousin, I'd already leaked into my sleeping bag! When she got up the next day, she blabbed to everyone in the campground. From then on, my nickname was. Try explaining that to new friends without blushing!!:)By Stacey Sheer(Halifax, Pa.)

I went skiiing for the first time when i was in 10th grade, and i had to take an entire day of "ski school." I had this really cool teacher i really wanted to impress, so i practiced all day on the bunny slope. In the afternoon I saw him teaching a bunch of little kids how to ski and i decided to show him what i learned. I shouted out, Just as he looked at me, I crashed right into a tree! He ran over to see if i was OK, and i had to tell him three times not to call the medics. I wasn't physically hurt but my pride was damaged. By Tanya Keer(Lansing, Mich.)
