Oh God of Love, hear our prayer for those who live with chronic pain. Bless them with your Holy spirit that they may have the courage and patience to face each day. Give them an abundance of laughter and love to combat the pain. Provide them with tenderand compassionate medicl care that their burden may be eased. Grant them a spirit of wonder and grace that their lives may be rich with the joy of life; in the name of Jesus Christ who heals, we pray. Amen.
Most loving God, nothing can be done to ease or remove the pain for many who are dying. Our medicines are inadequate, our tehnoogy failing. Bring peace tothose who suffer so in their last hours of life. Bless them with your abiding presense, that though th pain be great, the joy of your nearness brings comfort and hope. Deliver them from their distress and receive them into the arms of your mercy and love; in Crhist's name we pray. Amen.
