After suggestions of using a backdrop that is contextual to the model, I got the wild-hair-idea to make "Ahlborn Truck Sales!" I started at noon, and finished around 5pm! Non-stop! That shoots my day off!
After scrounging through the parts box, the balsa scraps and the paints, and some pie-in-the-sky ideas, this is the result.
Doors open now! A 352H drom in for work.
Looks like a Peterbilt cabover in for service
An old Ford in for something
Diamond Reo Raider getting serviced
An old photo?
Another old photo?
Old Pete 351
A Pete 377 in for work. Note the ceramic version of my dog standing there.

Ryder Ford.. we rent trucks too!
What IS that dog barking at now?
The basic building is a Hunter Ceiling fan box. Balsa and basswood siding. Plastruct and Evergreen trim,
KW, Peterbilt, Mack, Diamond Reo, Brockway, Freightliner, Fruehauf, Trailmobile and Cummins
brand names adorn the window and door. The building's address is "359," as in Peterbilt 359,
there is a salvage yard KW door, some new tires, a fancy chrome rim from the Chrome Shop,
and the dog. The front window shows the hours of operation, phone number, and some other info.
With no real expected outcome, I thouroughly enjoyed this project!
It needs some sandpaper for the parking area in front of the doors. So I can park the trucks a bit farther from the building.
