A Breif Description of me, for that is all I remember...
Ok, A little about me then? Well, lets start at the beginning of my
past life, a good place to start yes? Ok.

The first thing I can remember is feeling trapped, confined in a
small space, no air, and dark as ebony. I knew I had to get out, so I
tore at the wall nearest my head with my beak, and air and light flooded
my eyes for the first time. Something was nagging at the back of my mind,
something I couldn't describe, only that it was telling me that this was
wrong, that I shouldn't be HERE, but onwards I continued, my lungs greedy
for this new air so rich with oxygen. I head a soft voice, soft, but
edging me on, helping me out of my barracade. Finally, I was out of my
enclosure and in an amazing new world. I was wet, weak, but the voice that
had helped me out of that hell was taking form as a rugged young man, only
about 17 or so, and this human was holding out some very wonderful
smelling meat, aware of my hunger for the first time, I snatched it
greedily from his hands and was upon it at once, tearing into it with my
young teeth. All the while, the feeling of it being wrong was stuck into
my mind, but I was so Hungry! Steak after raw steak I devoured, until
finally I was full. Now I took time to take a survey around me. I gazed
around and noticed hundreds of people, all staring at me some looked as
though they might pass out, some already had. Keeping close to the one who
helped me, I continued my venture around the encampment. behind me was a
shell, empty and badly broken, on top of some very warm sands. The man
laughed lightly and said to me "thats right fella, ye've come from that
egg. My name's D'mor, what be yuirs?" I loked at this young man,
wondering how he knew my name, or even that I could understand him, and
then, I replied very quietly, but all heard me as I replied instinctively
"I am Tjaleth, I am the future"

Over the next few weeks, I learned much about life and what I needed
to survive, hunting, flying, and fighting were taught to me, but I had
known all these things instinctively, although the humans gave me help
and tips along the way. That is, the humans that would dare to come near
me, I scared much of them, especially at the rate I was progressing, I
was already taller than their largest huts. the thought of something being
wrong was still there, but fainter now, for what could be wrong! I had
many people around me, all nice despite their initial fear of me, and
D'mor and I had become good friends, and I felt indebted to him for all
he had done for me. However, I felt it odd that we were constantly moving,
and that despite D'mor's assurances that there we others like me, I was
the only dragon among these travelling band of gypsies, these were good
times, and I remember them most vividly out of my life. However, what
goes up has always proven that it comes down, even the great sun sisters
fell from the sky after their 16 hours of light. Some time after the
third year of my initial birth, things started happening.....

We had just stopped by a lake that day, it was hot, so D'mor, I, and
the rest of the people there -now I knew called the Mit-she'ka, a band of
travelling gypsies- decided to take a nice mid-afternoon swim. We left
the carts of our lives close to where we were at, and ran towards the
shimmering lake, it was so warm. I dove in first, far to the bottom to
check for anything that could be hostile, as I have learned to identify,
then I cam up and gave the ok sign, shooting out of the water, doing a
loop, then dove back in. With that, the people cheered and ran towards the
water. The adults were talking casually, while I, now accepted and not
feared, played with the children in shallower waters. Suddenly, I heard a
low rumbling off to where we had just come from, I bugled out a warning to
the men, then rose out of the water to see what was coming towards us.
From my height over the trees as I took off, I could already see a cloud
of dust making its way towards us quickly. I came back down and told
D'mor of what I had seen. He then gathered the women and children and
sent them to the opposite end of the camp. I was puzzled why he would do
such a thing. Why would anyone want to hurt such carefree, wonderful
people? He explained that other people were not like the ones I had grown
up with, and so we were considered radicals by leaders and forced to
travel the continent. While we entertained, we were also picked upon,
constantly being robbed as we traveled from city to city, often people
had taken ours and sold them into slavery. That is one of the reasons
everyone was so happy I was with them, as they did not like to fight, but
knew they needed protection from those who would try to harm them.
Well needless to say I was confused about human nature about this, but I
was apalled that humans could treat others like that. So, I went with
D'mor to greet the oncoming people, either with hostility or hospitality
ready, and waited for them to come. We saw the dust getting closer....

When the dust had cleared, we saw those who had rode in on it, almost
100 strong by what I could tell, and all armed to the teeth. Their leader
came forward and and spoke with our leader in hushed tones I could not
understand at first, even with my heightened hearing, but as the
conversation beame more heated, I picked up every word, and I knew then,
blood would be spilled on the sands that were so shortly ago home to
nothing but joy. The leader of these hostile men went for his sword and
killed ours, with this action, the fighting had begun. We charged, but our
first line was taken down entirely with archers before we reached the
group. We would have been outnumbered 2 to 1, but I kind of evened out the
odds. Fighting with both instinct and training, I ad cut through their
ranks, scattering a few of the newest members by scaring the wits out of
them, I saw them flee but did not pursue them, I had to focus on keeping
my family, my home, safe from these intruders. I went from spot to spot,
either flaming a group of them or tearing at them with my claws if one of
my people were there. For the first time in my life, I had felt that I was
actually complete, despite the fact I was taught killing was never a good
thing, I was going on instinct and instinct was telling me that all that I
saw should be lying down dead or bowing to me and all dragons in homage. I
was so confused, but it felt so right, so I fought on. After what seemed
like an eternity the fighting had stopped, and all of those who had
attacked either ran away or died at our hands, but there were our own
casualities we had to see to, many good men died that day, none of them
deserved the end the fates had cast to them. I felt horrible, so I went to
D'mor's tent to talk to him, he had always helped me when I was confused.
Only when I got to his tent, I was greeted with dismay instead of comfort.
Several clinics and healers were working over his body, crying out demands
to the awaiting servants. One noticed me enter and shooed me out of the
tent, he spoke to me softly, saying "he 'as been hurt badly, but we are
doing all we can to save him, wait here, I'll tell you when I am done."
And wait I did, for as long as what seemed to be several eternities,
until finally, when the 5th moon was full, they all walked out of the tent
slowly, wiping away sweat, or what I had thought to be sweat. The Cleric
came up to me and started slowly, "I'm sorry, he... I've done all I could
for him." he turned and walked away. I flew away from the camp to the
other side of the lake, and for the rest of that night and for nights
years and years after, I wept myself to sleep.

The next day, I aproached the elders and declared I wished to leave.
They said they did not want me to go, but could not hold anyone against
their will, but first they had to tell me a story before I left, a story
set in a time shortly before I was hatched, and then they would beg for
my forgiveness, quietly, I sat down as the head Elder recited the tale...

"Several years before you hatched, we were still a wandering tribe,
only with no weapons and very little money, and were picked on where ever
we went. Now, one day, a rutheless warlord, the same as the one you saw
had caught us off guard and threatened to kill all of us if we didn't
swear our allegiance to him and his army. We regretfully accepted, and
did many things that gave all gypsies a bad name among soceiety, giving
all we worked for to him, then one day he left with a full army of over a
thousand men, claiming he was going after the "ultamite weapon". We hadn't
heard from him until a week before you had hatched, he came back with only
ten men at his side, all wounded, and carrying his ultimate weapon. And do
you know what this wapon was?" His voice stopped for he was having trouble
finding the words. "That weapon, is you."

He let out a deep sigh and continued with his story. "He told us an
amazing story of breaking into the Dragon of the Universe, Tiamat's very
own castle and stealing on of the guardian eggs. Your egg. They had
carried it back all the way here, being followed constantly by the dragons.
He demanded we take the egg and teach you how to fight, he wanted you for
his army, but he was still being chased by your kind, we agreed and he
left, promising he would be back for you in three years. Well about six
days later, you hatched, and we decided to teach you our way of life, not
his. We wouldn't have even taught you how to fight, had we not thought you
would always need to defend yourself. Anyway, we thought he was killed,
until he came back today, just as he promised, for today is when he gave
you to us. Only thing was, we did not want to give you up, you had become
too much a part of our family, our lives. Obviously, he objected to it and
declared war on us. without you, we all would have died....."

With that he cleared his throat and settled back into his chair,
leaving me to fully absorb this information. After a while, I spoke to
him. "I thank you for this information, now I have more reason to leave
you. I will go out and find the place where I truely belong, then I will
send for you all, my family, to be re-located to a place where you can
settle down and be treated like the wonderful people you all are. I love
you all and thank you for being with me, I will always remember you."
With that, it was over, and I walked out of the tent, paid my last
respects to D'mor, and launched myself into the warm afternoon sun......

Over the next few years, I had many interesting adventures, which I might be able to write down soon, you can see the ones I have already in my image gallery, and I will try to number them accordingly . Other than that, umm, go on and look over the rest of my page if you want, and remember my story.
Forever remaining,
Tjaleth
