CAMP CHENOA

A couple of summers ago I spent my time in the mountains in Antrim, New Hampshire as a camp counselor. I worked at Camp Chenoa which is part of the Swift Water Girl Scouts. I met some aweome people at camp (see below) and had a blast with them doing CRAZY things like going to Cape Cod, Six Flags, going to the mall and movies and just generally being silly. While camp wasn't everything I hoped it would be I can't regret meeting the people that I did. I'll never forget the view from our hotel room in Cape Cod, or the fight at Six Flags or watching the Perfect Storm the night before I left. I will always remember these things and always remember how friends take a bad situation and make it better - you guys are awesome!

Taken during pre-camp in the staff house. The staff house is a scared place on camp, no campers allowed!!! We went there to unwind, watch movies, drink pop and eat junk food and to just take our mind off of our problems and converse with people our own age!!

Taken on one of our "stress relief" trips to Manchester - or Manchvegas because it's one of the most interesting places you can spend your 6 hour break. TGIFriday's became a great place to get some decent food and hang out with people you love.

This is on our way to Cape Cod in the camp van!! Cape Cod was the MOST awesome time I've had in forever. It was just great to get away from camp and enjoy some sort of normal "kidless" society again. As you can see Lizz was already in "party" mode with all that food in her mouth. I realized how much I missed the smell of the ocean and the salt water taste of the air - I miss it already. The view from our room was beautiful and it seemed like you could see for miles! I can't wait to go back and visit Cape Cod again!!
