Here are two people that will always be a part of the Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings. Vladimir Konstantinov (and Sergei Mnatsakanov) were a motivating factor throughout the year and kept the players focused on the task at hand. Slava Fetisov is leaving us for an assistant coaching position with New Jersey and we will dearly miss him. Though he is leaving the team physically, he will always be a part of the spirit that has carried this team to the Stanley Cup. We wish him well and much success.

8 Stanley Cups can't be wrong. What can I say? People try to second guess him and question his ways, but the outcome has always been a championship team no matter what city he coaches in. Thank You for the championships Scotty, please stay another year!
