Dear God, Why Matt? he was my best friend! I had a major crush on him... and nobody knew it! We became friend so long ago it seems... We we just so immature at the time. I mean We were only in 5th grade! And now... He's gone! I miss him so much! And as a 7th grader you can have a lot of emotions come and go! But this one seems to stay with me... Why? I just want to know why did he have to die? Why was he diagonsed with cancer? Why a brain tumor? Why Matt? He never did anything wrong! Well... 'sept if you count the time he told his mom that the horses got out... she totaly flipped... and what did he do... he just laughed! He was so cheerful! He had so much life left in him! Nobody desreves the pain in loosing Matt. And now that I'm an junior in high school I need a friend more than anything and more than ever! I fonly he knew how much we all miss him it might be easier on us all! Even thought it'z 4 and and a half years later it still hurts. If you could please tell him we all miss him and love him and We hope to see him soon! We want to be with him so badly it hurts to even think about it. So please tell him how I felt... I know it might not mean anything now but it means a lot to me. Thank you so much... and be sure to tell him when I get there I hope he's waiting for me right on the other side of the gates along with Mitchell, Grandma, Grandpa, Carl, and everyone else. This story was written about a friend I had lost when I was only 12. He was my best friend and my crush for three years. I miss him and I know I'm not alone!
