Faithfully (Ch. 16)

When they got to the hotel and walked up the guy’s rooms, they all heard Ryan yelling. “Get it through your head! I love, Monica! You know, my girlfriend! I don’t like you. Nor will I ever! So leave me alone!” Then Britney Spears ran out of his room and to her room. Ryan walked out to make sure she was gone and then saw TJ, Sarah, Stevie, Angela, Kylie, Monica, Jen, Clay & Teallie all standing in the middle of the hall starring at Ryan with a surprised look. “Mon! What are you doing here?” Then they ran over to each other, hugged and kissed as TJ, Stevie & Clay took the girls to their rooms. Sarah dropped her stuff on TJ’s bed and turned to him as she hugged him again. As she stood there hugging TJ she saw Stevie & Angela kiss each other across the hall and then Stevie shut the door with his foot. Sarah got really confused and then thought about how she and TJ weren’t going to tell anyone about how he was singing to her on their date. Then Sarah pushed away from TJ told him. “Stevie & Angela are hiding something too! We have to find out what it is!” TJ gave Sarah a confused look and they both sat down on the edge of the bed as she began to explain. “Ok. I know you know how we aren’t telling anyone about you singing to me. Well something must have happened on their date. Because acted the very same way I did when we told all the details of that night. Now look at them they’re acting really strange. TJ, something happened. But what?” TJ started to understand and replied. “Now that you mention it. Stevie acted like I did when he got home that night.” Sarah smiled and asked. “Oh yeah? How’s that?” “You know. Lost in thought. Never paying attention to what anyone said or did. Kind of, like, what do you call it? Giddy.” “Giddy? TJ? You were Giddy?” Sarah started to laugh and then TJ started to wrestle her. He then pins her to the floor and says. “Wow. This is weird. When I got my first kiss I was the one who was pinned.” Then he leaned down and kissed her.

Later that day Sarah & Angela went down to the pool while TJ & Stevie went to work out. As Angela was about the step into the pool Sarah saw the ring. “That’s it! Are you and Stevie engaged?” Angela then hid the ring and bit her lower lip. Sarah grabbed Angela’s hand and stated. “You are aren’t you?” “No. It’s just a promise ring but eventually it will be my engagement ring.” Sarah got really excited and hugged Angela. “I’m so happy for you!” After they were all done working out TJ came and bent down next to Sarah who was laying out in the sun. “Sarah? Want to go see England now? I have to give you something anyway.” Sarah agreed and they walked up stairs holding hands. They went to see Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, The London Tower. When they stopped at West Minster Abbey, TJ noticed Sarah was distracted. “Sarah? Are you ok?” “What? Oh yeah. I’m fine. I’m just thinking.” “About what?” “Angela.” “What about her?” “I know what she & Stevie are hiding.” “Well what is it?” “He gave her a promise ring. He proposed but they are just considering it as a promise ring for now until both are ready to let it be an engagement ring.” “Stevie? I never would have guessed.” Sarah nodded and then looked back up at the Abbey. TJ looked at his pocket and then took a deep breath. “Sarah? I have to give you this.” “Sarah turned to TJ and he handed her a small box. Sarah opened it and gasped. “It’s beautiful.” She said as she put it on. “I’ve had this necklace for a while. Look on the back.” Sarah flipped the heart over and read it out loud. “I give you my heart. I love you. -TJ” Sarah started to cry and hugged TJ. “I love you too, TJ.” Then they walked back to the car as Sarah held the heart and TJ sighed. As they drove past museums and through the country, Sarah starred out the window as she smiled. TJ looked over at her and asked. “So now what are you thinking about?” Sarah turned to TJ and smiled. “About today. How happy I am with you. How much I love you. How beautiful England is. How beautiful this necklace is. How did you know I like silver?” “Look at you’re rings, earrings, and necklaces. You don’t own any gold. So I just assumed it.” Then TJ stopped the car. Sarah go confused when TJ got out and opened her door. “Come with me.” Sarah got out and took TJ’s hand, still confused.” They walked out into a field and as the came up over a hill, off in the distance Sarah Stone Hinge. TJ pulled Sarah to him so that they both were starring at Stone Hinge and then softly spoke. “I wanted to see this with you. I knew where to find it because the guys all stopped here yesterday but I sat in the car because I knew you’d be here.”

Back at the Hotel, when TJ and Sarah pulled up, Angela & Stevie were waiting. They immediately ran up to TJ & Sarah and told them “You both need to leave right now! There’s some crazed fan looking for the both of you. She somehow got in to your room and found the picture of the two of you next to the bed and flipped out. Hurry! Go!” then all four of them pilled in to the tiny car as Stevie drove off. “We’re gonna go shopping or something but I can’t let you two go back there until Silk Tilk calls me to say it’s safe.” TJ and Sarah sat in the back seat as TJ held her scared out their minds. Then Angela saw the necklace.
