Faithfully (Ch. 3)

They all ran out, got on the bus and drove off as Take 5 kept singing. Jen, TJ, Sarah, Ricky, Teallie & Clay all went in to the back room to play video games. Tilky, Ryan, & Stevie writing a song meanwhile Tommy, Danny, & Eric all fell asleep. TJ put in Take 5’s CD and played a song that he sings alone with a piano. As TJ played the video game he heard Sarah, who was sitting next to him facing towards him but looking out the window, singing to the slow song that was playing at that moment. And on top of it all she was harmonizing with TJ’s part. He was so mesmerized that he forgot about the game and didn’t even realize that he was singing with her. Jen & Teallie looked at each other and then they looked at Clay and Ricky. Then all three looked at Sarah and TJ who both seemed to be in their own little worlds. Ricky ran out of the room within a few seconds came back with his video camera along with everyone else who was on the bus. Everyone was totally stunned. When the song was over TJ and Sarah came out of their “Trance” and got scared when they saw everyone staring at them with their mouths open, totally in awe. “What?” they both asked at the very same time. Nobody said a word. They both asked again “What?” Jen finally came back to planet earth and said “You guys sound great! You should sing that song together tonight” TJ and Sarah both started to blush and then Sarah said “No way! I can’t get up there in front of all those people and sing! No way!” TJ smiled and said “Actually I think it’s a great idea.” Sarah gave TJ an “ARE YOU CRAZY?!?” look and then got nervous “I don’t know TJ.” TJ turned to Sarah and put his hand on hers. “Look at it this way. If we can do it than so can you. Everyone is scared at some point and we all have to start somewhere. Just try it. For me?” “If you say so.”

A few hours later Sarah found herself on stage facing TJ singing for a sound check. As she looked out to where the audience was to bee that night she not only saw everyone who was listening before but now the guys from LFO and all of the crew. Sarah started to get nervous again and TJ turned Sarah’s head back to him when he grabbed her hand. Sarah seemed to be totally comfortable after that move. As soon as the song was finished everyone ran up to TJ and Sarah and made comments like “You guys are so good!”, “That was awesome you guys.”, “Wow you did it!” & “You can’t back out now Sarah! I won’t let you!” That’s when Brad from LFO tapped Sarah on the shoulder. “Sarah? Can I talk to you for a second?” “Sure Brad.” Sarah said with a scared look on her face as she looked over at Teallie and Jen who just shrugged their shoulders. As Brad and Sarah walked over to the edge of the stage and sat down, Jen looked over at Rich and Devin from LFO when she noticed Rich winked at her and smiled. Sarah started to blush, turned to Teallie and they both ran back stage laughing. “Teallie? Did you just see that?” “No what happened?” “I looked over at Rich and he -” That’s when Sarah came running in “OHMIGOSH!! You won’t even believe what just happened to me! Brad just told me that he thinks I have a good voice and wants me to do a song with them on their next album!” Jen and Teallie got really excited for Sarah and gave her a hug as Jen said. “I’m so happy for you, Sarah!” You totally deserve this! But I have to tell you what just happened to me!” “What?” “Ok. I looked over at Rich and he -” Then Clay ran in “Tannelle can you help me with something?” Teallie rolled her eyes and smiled. “Sure. In a second. Jen has to tell us something. By the way, you can call me Teallie.” “Oh ok thanks.”

The girls all laughed because that the second time that happened. Sarah ran over to where everyone runs on-stage and made sure no one else wanted to talk to them. “Ok it’s all clear.” Sarah said laughing. Jen rolled her eyes and then continued. “Anyway. As I was saying I looked over at Rich and he smiled and winked at me. It was so cute!” All three girls got even more excited and all started to scream. When they stopped they all looked to the “on stage entrance” and saw all of the guys giving them an “ooookkkk” look. The girls all laughed and Teallie said “Well I better go help Clay now. He’s so hot!” Teallie ran off and on stage to find Clay leaning over an amp. He seemed to be playing with the wires. She just shrugged it off and ran over to him. “Ok Clay. What do you need?” Clay looked over his shoulder at her and just smiled. “Can you grab that.” He asked pointing to what looked like a picture of Clay, TJ, and Ryan. She picked it up and handed it to Clay after he put the amp back. “Thanks. Hey Ry I got it!” He yelled as he ran the picture over to Ryan who was talking to Devin, Tommy, Danny, and Eric leaving Teallie standing there all by herself. When Teallie walked of stage she found Jen talking to Matt, that guy who works for LFO, and asked Jen. “Jen? Do you know where Sarah went?” “I have no clue. I think I saw her TJ going over there somewhere” Jen replied pointing to a few of the dressing rooms. Teallie walked over to one door and just as she was about to knock she heard some talking coming from another room...
