This is just to say “I had faith in you.” I’m so happy you got up there and sang with me. You have a beautiful voice and it needs to be shown off. So this is just a thank you gift for giving me the privilege of being your partner.

The girls all awed and Sarah opened the package. “Ohmigosh! He didn’t!” Sarah held up a pair of Jean shorts, a red bandanna print belt & white tank top. “It’s to match TJ’s outfit. I was so worried because I didn’t have anything to wear at the last show.” The girls all awed again and went on about how sweet he was. That’s when they all noticed TJ leaning against the door frame. Sarah got up and hugged TJ as she whispered to him. “Thanks TJ.” “You deserved it. But we have to get on stage for our sound check now.” TJ took Sarah’s hand and led her out on stage. Kylie followed but as she was just about to step on stage Brad ran off nearly running into her. Kylie fell backwards and Brad stopped to help her up. He quickly apologized to her and ran off to find Matt. When Kylie got her heart beating again she ran after Sarah. “Sarah! I almost got run over by Brad Fischetti! Mr. Stud Muff himself! He’s so hot! He helped me up and then guess what! He said “sorry about that, Kylie” He knows my name! He’s so gorgeous!” “Umm. Ok. Ky, sit down and breathe.” Sarah chuckles. Meanwhile back in the dressing room, Jen & Teallie were chatting with Clay, Stevie, & Tommy when Rich stopped in and sat next to Jen. “So Jen.” Jen started to blush again and faintly said “yeah?” “So how old are you?” “I’ll be 18 in November.” “Good and are you single?” Jen really started to blush and then said “yes.” “Oh that’s all I needed to know. Thanks.” And then he left the room. A little while later they all went on stage to hear TJ & Sarah sing again. Rich began to look around to find Jen and out of the corner of his eye saw Tilky staring at Sarah & TJ. The he walked over and asked Tilky. “Does anyone but me know?” “Know about what?” “How you like Sarah.” “I don’t. I just love her voice.” Then he got really quiet and said “No, only you know. No one else can know. Look at them. They really like each other. I can’t come between that. Please don’t tell anyone, Rich.” “Oh I won’t. But how are you going to handle it if they become a couple?” “I’ll deal with it. I always do.” And neither one said a word after that, both just stood there watching TJ & Sarah.
When the song was done TJ and Sarah hugged each other and Tilky ran off stage. TJ saw Tilky run off and took off after him along with Rich. “Tilk! Wait! What’s wrong?” Tilky stopped and turned to TJ. “You really like Sarah don’t you?” “Yeah I guess. Why?” “Tell her! She obviously likes you! You two make me sick! It shows in the song! You blend so well together and not just her heart is in that song! Man TJ! If you can’t see it then you really are blind. And Rich! You shouldn’t be talking to me about who I like. You should be talking to yourself about Jen! And while we’re at it where’s Clay? He and Teallie sure seem to sick, themselves! What is wrong with you all?” “No, Tilk, What’s wrong with you? You weren’t like this a minute ago.” “Look TJ. Moods change and mine just did! Now leave me alone and I’ll be fine by show time!” “Whatever!” TJ started to walk back on stage and Rich started to yell back at Tilky. “Is this how you deal with it? You need to grow up!” Then Rich followed TJ back on stage and Tilky stormed off into someone’s dressing room.
