Chapter 10 (More Than Anything)

Tay whirled around to see Sarah standing there “Sarah, thank God you’re ok. Amy is leaving. I heard her tell Chad that her grandma just had a heart attack you should really talk to her.” “Ok, I will I’m going to need Meg and Ky though. Tell them to meet Amy and I at the soccer goal. We’ll be waiting for them.” Amy left the room, walked up to Amy, gave her a hug and said “Come on lets talk.” They walked out to the soccer goal and sat down waiting for Megan and Kylie to show up. Not even two seconds after Sarah asked Amy if she was ok Megan and Kylie ran up to them. Kylie was the first person to say something, of course she looked at them and as she was sitting down she said to Amy, “I just heard what happened. Are you ok? You know you can talk to us about it.” Amy smiled at the other girls concern for her and then slowly began to cry. “I’m leaving tonight. My mom called and told me it was a mistake for me to be here. I might not even be able to be a dancer anymore. At least not for a month or two.” Megan assured Amy that even if she was to be gone from the girls for that long they would always keep her spot open and teach her all the dances as soon as she got back. Sarah looked at Ike, Tay, Zac, and Mack’s bikes that were only a few feet from them. “You guys it’s not that late. It’s only like 7:00. Let’s go for a quick bike ride.” Kylie went to go tell the guys and they got on the bikes and rode off. They were having a great time until they were on their way back. Kylie stopped “You guys, something doesn’t feel right. I’m scared.” “Come on we’re all most there we only have to get to the end of the woods and we’re back. It’ll be fine, you’ll see.” “I’m not so sure, Meg.” Kylie said back to Megan as if she was absolutely sure something bad was going to happen. Meanwhile, back at the house Mackie had run outside to bring Wicket in from his “break” and saw a car coming down the road when he heard gun shots.
