Chapter 12 (More Than Anything)
“I’m sorry but it doesn’t look like Sarah is going to make it.” Tay, now crying looks at the doctor “How could this happen? I just found the girl I’ve been waiting my whole life for and now she’s leaving me!” Kylie runs out of the room crying even harder now because she had just found out that her best friends in the whole world and yet another close relative from her mom’s side was going to die on her. Megan ran after Kylie and when she caught up with her she led her to the waiting room to tell everyone else. “How are they?” Diana said as if about to burst into tears. Megan looked down and started to cry again “Amy will be ok. But Sarah... the doctor says...” Megan falls to the floor and crys even harder. Diana starting to cry picks up Megan and hugs her. Everyone walked back into the girls room and was told that Sarah had just slipped into a comma. Amy was now awake but crying. Tay was crying still and as was Chad. Tay ran out of the hospital room and to a phone “Hi, Steve... yeah this is Tay... no, I’m not Sarah has just been shot... yeah... will you go and get my keyboard in my room, my notebook, a pen and bring it to me?... yeah thanks.” Tay hung up the phone and ran back to the room. Tay sat down and looked at Walker “I had to call Steve, he bringing me some stuff.” “Ok, We have to get back to the house and get your brother and sisters to bed. Make sure you drive carefully home.” “Ok we will. Bye.” A Nurse came in and asked if Chad -or- wanted to stay the night there and pray something happens. They both said they did and the nurse left to get pillows ad blankets. When the nurse came back Ike, Megan, Kylie, and Zac were gone. Zac assumed Kylie couldn’t stand to stay there anymore and watch her cousin die on her.
