Chapter 7 (More Than Anything)
“Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. I told you that already, Zac. But...” “But What? Kylie, What?” “Zac, you know how much I love you and how I’d do anything for you but is this too soon? Are we rushing this? Do we need to get to know each other better? Sure Ike and Megan are “a thing” or so we think. Tay and Sarah are definitely “a thing” but are WE ready for that? Zac, we’re only thirteen years old. We should really think about this right now.” Kylie looked as if to cry right then and there but Tay and Megan went for a car ride and passed Zac and Kylie. They stopped to say hey. Zac and Kylie got in the car and they all drove home. “Tay, whose car is this?” Zac looked a little confused as he was studying the car. “Oh mom and dad got it for me... a late birthday present I guess. You got a new Nintendo 64. I heard them talking this morning about how they felt sorry for last night. Hey... there’s Sarah, Amy, Chad (Amy’s boyfriend), and Ike. Zac, call mom and tell her I found them.” “On what?” “My phone. Here.” Tay reaches down and grabs a cell phone out from under the seat. Zac takes the phone and starts to dial it. “Mom? Hi this is Zac. No I’m not hurt, Yeah Kylie’s ok. Tay? He’s here. MOM!!! Ok Tay just told me to call and tell you we found Ike, Sarah, Chad, and Amy. Yeah. They were walking down the road. Yeah ok bye. Tay, mom wants us home in a bout an hour to eat.” “Sounds ok too me.”
