written and read

"I think about the music of one line; of an entire scene or an entire episode which will follow the patterns of movements in longer pieces of music. There'll be an adagio and there'll be an andante, where people are talking very fast. There'll be an aria and there'll be pauses and rests as it is in music."

- Aaron Sorkin

"A blank page is God's way of showing you how hard it is to be God."

- Anon

"You will ask me whence I take my ideas? That I cannot say with any degree of certainty; they come to me uninvited, directly or indirectly,. I could almost grasp them in my hands, out in Nature's open, in the woods, during my promenades, in the silence of the night, at the earliest dawn."

- Ludwig van Beethoven

"In art we are once again able to do all the things we have forgotten; we are able to walk on water; we speak to the angels who call us; we move, unfettered, among the stars."

- Madeleine L'Engle, Walking on Water

I don't dare claim to be a writer.

I do, however, enjoy writing, probably more than I have time to what with it not being my major field of study and all. Combine this with my unhealty love of television and, well, here we are.

I have been known to write things completely unrelated to television shows. Those can be found here as well.

And, finally, I do more reading than I have time for and never enough to satisfy me.

Like any of this stuff? Have something you'd like to share? Please feel free to let me know.
