In 1999 several European Train fans in the Detroit area started a chapter of ETE. Our activities include bi-monthly meetings where we watch videos and slides of members' trips to Europe and/or run trains on our host's train layout, build and maintain a modular layout, and take excursions to places of "railroad interest".
We are now over twenty members strong, several of whom are active with our modular layout. Many of us visit Europe on occasion, and try and bring back memorabilia and pictures/video. If you have an interest in European trains of any nationality and are located in the Michigan area, the ETEGL may be the club for you!
