This is the "other side of the Rhine" area, with its twin-tracked mainline and the branch line to Kottenforst. The Kottenforst area is the only portion of this half of the layout completed. Needless to say, I still have a bunch of work ahead of me!
For those of you who have asked, here is a sketch of the Carstenbahn track plan. As you can see, it is a basic dogbone layout with a secondary line running up to the station at Kottenforst.
