FIRE! FIRE!
The First Grand Prix in the United States in eight years is history. It was won by the man destined to be remembered as one of the GREATEST RACE CAR DRIVERS in history. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the candle on the McLaren, so to speak. When Mika's car caught fire, it was the most beautiful thing I had every seen! Okay, maybe not, but it was REALLY DARNED GREAT for a Schumi fan like me. There was only one problem with this weekend...
Was I the only F1 fan in the whole darned world who didn't get to go? I mean, every F1 fan I talked to was going to the race! And here I am, only four hours' drive away! Damn, I should have planned it better! Schumi clinches (basically) the F1 crown, Hakinnen goes down in flames (literally), and David Coulthard is officially eliminated from the F1 championship.
What an awesome season we have had so far! I'm really looking forward to these last two races. Go get 'em, Schumi!
