GOKU
Goku is the main character of the entire DB and DBZ series. Goku is a Saiyan, and he was sent to Earth as a baby to destroy Earth, but was adopted by a old hermit named Son-Gohan, whom Goku later calls his Grandfather. He was a mean baby, but when he fell into a ravine and hit his head, he changed into a well-behaved child. His Saiyan name is Kakarot. After the hermit died, Goku was living on his own. That was when he first met Bulma, and his adventures began. He uses a flying cloud called the Kinto Cloud for transportation as well. He's a naive man, who has a strange ability to make friends out of enemies. He used to have a tail, which allowed him to become a giant were-monkey during a full moon, but it was later pulled off. Goku is super powerful, and learned the Kamehameha attack just by watching Master Roshi perform it! Later, he marries the Ox-King's daughter, Chi-Chi, and has two sons, Gohan and Goten. After Namek explodes, Goku escapes using a space capsule and lands on the planet Yardrat, where he learns Teleport before returning to Earth. During the later part of the series, he learns to become a Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3, each more powerful than the last. Near the end of the Cell series, he and King Kai attempt to destroy Cell, but are killed and refuse to be revived by Shen Lon. Goku does come back from Heaven to help train Goten and returns for good to help the remaining Z warriors defeat the evil True Buu. The end of the Cell series ends Goku's story and Gohan becomes the main character then. Goku is last seen in the DBZ series with Ubuu(the "good" form of Buu), leaving his family to train Ubuu to become a fighter.
