Mom, Kammi and Jhon in ALASKA

Mom, Kammi and Jhon spent time in Alaska this past summer, enjoying the long days, warm temperatures and traveling into the Kenai Peninsula.

Bus Stop

Our first few days in Anchorage we got around on public transportation.

Anchorage Coastal Trail

The Coast Trail is about 12 miles long from Downtown to Kincaid Park along the Knik Arm of Cook Inlet.

Coastal Trail Tunnel

The trail system in Anchorage is great because they built these tunnels so that you don't have to worry about crossing the roads. Here we are returning from frisbee golf and preparing to throw our disk at Mom...

Putting their backs to Flattop. This is one of the most climbed mountains in Alaska, but I still haven't been able to make it to the top (healthy respect for heights)

This mountainous lake is about an hour out of Anchorage. It is a beautiful spot and the lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout!!!

Jhon and I had a great time hiking up the rocky mountain side, but we both decided this would be a bad place to be during an earthquake...

Hiking around Exit Glacier near Seward, Alaska.

Ahhhhh, Kammi and her fishing pole. Though in the next picture of all of us fishing, she did have a SALMON on the line, but lost it.

We did get brave enough to go up in this Float Plane and it was definitely one of the best experiences of the trip. The next two pictures are from the air.
