DENALI HIGHWAY

The Denali Highway crosses a section of the state below Fairbanks, and is an incredible place. The colors of the tundra made us think we were on another planet.

We drove north to the Arctic Circle where we could begin to see the Brooks Range covered in snow.

In Prospect Creek these two 49ers attempted to pan for gold. Not sure what we found, but it looked like gold and it was a fun adventure out in the middle of absolutely nowhere!
