Pokémon Codes

Get over 100 of an item

First you must have at least one of the item you want to multiply. Move it to the sixth item position. Go to Viridian City and talk to the old man on the north end of town. You must answer no when he says "Are you in a hurry?" He will then take you into a battle where he catches a Weedle. Right after you talk to him (you cannot move around at all) fly to Cinnabar Island. You must then walk straight right to the sea. When you reach the edge you must surf and then go up and down the coast. You will encounter lv. 128 Golbats and lv. 141 Snorlaxes. You will also encounter many different types of low leveled Pokémon such an Spearows. All of these you can catch normally (if you level up a Pokémon that is more than lv. 100 it will go down to lv. 100). However, there will be another type of Pokémon there called Missingno (Missing Number?) that looks like a column of static. If you try to catch it, it will supposedly glitch up your game (I have never tried it myself). It lookes like you can encounter it without a problem though. In fact, you need to encounter it to multiply your sixth item! You can use this to multiply rare candys, moon stones, master balls, anything that has a number next to it!

Duplicating Pokémon

This code may be written a little bit different then how you may have previously seen it, but this method works best for me. First you must have two pokémon games, two Game Boys, and a link cable. Second get the pokémon you want to duplicate on one game and one you don't care about on the other (this one will be erased!!!). Third, link up the Game Boys with the link cable and enter the Trading Center. Now trade the pokémon to be duplicated with the one you don't care about. Here is where it gets trickey, because it requires turning off the Game Boys at different times during the trade. Turn off the Game Boy that originally had the pokémon to be duplicated after the trade when it says "Waiting". Wait till a fast count of two before doing this!!! Turn off the other Game Boy simply when it says "Trade Completed". Turn them both back on and you should both have the strong pokémon, and the weak one should be gone!!!

Getting the Highest Possible Stats

I have a new trick (or rather a group of tips/tricks) that you probably have not heard of. These may seem "bogus" but they're not. I have discovered these because I am very much into battling two player on the Game Boy game. They regard getting a pokémon with very high stats.

1.Find the type of pokémon you want to use.

2.Go catch a fair amount of that type (ex. 15 Bulbasaurs) that are the same level. Compare their stats and you'll notice that they are all a bit different. Separate all of the ones with the highest stats. Release the others.

3.Use rare candys (MissingNo trick) to level them up to level 100. You'll notice that even if their stats were the same when you caught them, they will be different now. Pick the one that has the highest stats (ones favorable to you) and release the others.

4.Now comes the hard part, take this pokémon, and beat the elite four with mostly just it, so it gets a lot of experience. When you beat the game, fly back to a pokémon center, deposit it into the computer and take it back out again. You'll notice that its stats will have gone up 1 or 2 each. Repeat as much as you want, but after about 20 times they will stop going up. I realize that this takes a long time, but it is well worth it.

Note:I have only tested this on Mewtwo since it takes a long time, but there is no reason why it should be different on any other pokémon.
