50th CLASS REUNION

From Granville, Ohio To where ever you are, God Bless and Keep You Whether near or far.

CLASS of 1955

AS I REMEMBER IT ..... What a class! Donna Baker – the quiet blonde I didn’t even know in 1955 had blossomed into a brunette with bubbling smile and personality. Isn’t it wonderful what age can produce? I’m sorry you and Sonny missed your 50thWedding Anniversary Rosie, but I’ll bet he’s busy getting things fixed up special for that future time when you join him. I missed my maid-of-honor and best friend, Mary Alice, and reminiscing our almost eloping tale with Dale Hill. And to think Naomi sent a check and then didn’t even make the reunion – Couldn’t you wait a bit long to die of cirrhosis of the liver!? Geez!!! I was sorry David Kreider wasn’t there so I could tell him that I still like gardenias…my first corsage. I don’t remember much about David Hartsough except he had porn pictures in 7th grade – long before the Internet was heard of. I couldn’t believe Judy Shields still had her Valentines from 4th grade! Are they going to Hawaii too? Sylvia Phillips’s Ex is still in throwing range? Thanks for the pictures. Ruth Smith – you been using Botox on your hubby? Jane Lantz says we won’t find her Googling – lol – but she found Dick Martin – (no wonder! LOOK at all that stuff he did! – I couldn’t even pronounce it.) David Pendergast, you weren’t the ONLY one who couldn’t wait to “get out of school” – I felt the same way, but mother kept telling me how much FUN I’d have at college – (I had FUN but she didn’t tell me what else comes with that.) Mary Jane (Bashful) Marlow – all the way from California – what a treat! Delores Bell may not have graduated with us but she sure knew all the kids names – thanks for emailing ‘em to me. And I’m still chuckling at Maxine-in-charge-then to Maxine-in-charge-now – and STILL doing a Great Job!! Betty Hanby, who I’d never have recognized, spent 50 years in Beauty School getting gorgeous? Barbara Scott’s profile made me laugh the most – but seeing her mom looking like Snowwhite in the funeral home kept me out of them for 27 years. And Ellen Reeder wasn’t adopted! (I told my mom it was OK that hubby, Bob, was, because Ellen was so nice.) You’re right Bernice – we ALL wondered if we were adopted back then. Remember the BYF meetings with Phyllis Strimple and the Musical Chairs? You were there too Jack Dudley – but I doubt that started your music career. lol Helen Davis Cramer – yes I remember LeRoy too – very sorry for your loss. Diane Burchard had a Pekinese in High School if I remember correctly – she’s still into cute pups! Duckie, you didn’t change much – and I’ll bet you’re still a slugger at softball. John DeVault – ‘twas so sweet hearing how you mow Sherry’s mom’s lawn each week and deliver her mail. May you and Sherry enjoy as many years together. Evelyn Foster – 25 years with Granville Schools! Wow! Ronnie Graham – I remember the quartet – How come you didn’t sing at our 50th?!! Barb Ochs – I was not surprised to hear you STILL work at a Saddle Shop – Horses ‘R Barb should be it’s name. Pinky – how neat to be giving away your daughter for her second marriage. Glad you survived Bypass and Knee surgery to make it to our 50th. And Jodie, so glad you are a survivor too! Enjoyed the Irish dancing your grand niece was in. Barb Remmele – sure am glad you’re still making the fudge cake – it is STILL SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Sorry about your picture Ivonne – “Thou must keep eyes open when Mary clicks camera.” Jane Rhodeback, and David Sutton – snowbirds too? – The snow is pretty, but who wants to shovel? John Ricciardo – will you be visiting Jacksonville and your new granddaughter? Tom Williams – so glad your wife, Ruth, got you to our 50th Reunion! Loved hearing about the ’55 Homecoming Chevy and Corvette. What a delight the 50th Reunion was!!!
