Finally launch day! 6/14/98

These are a few pictures of the boat as we get her ready to trailer to Mullett lake. We put hours of work into her over the winter and spring. Took off all of the teak and redid with Cetol, replaced turnbuckles, upgraded the spreaders, replaced halyards, replaced the bow eye, replaced all 6 chainplates & eyebolts, replaced keel cable, turning ball & pin, installed keel centering spacer kit, installed new VHF antenna, and redid all wiring connections on the deck, and redid the wiring in the cabin. We had the "yard" (later in the season) remove the keel and replace the keel hanger casting, bolts and pin. Also had them sandblast the keel and refinish it. They sanded and painted the bottom. This also does not include the countless hours of elbow grease of cleaning her up and making her shine!

Securing the mast

Notice that the trailer is rusty and in need of some repair. This is our next project while the boat is in the water for the season.
