IRISH CONFETTI started in mid 1996 when Tripple NIPPLE said to White Bread hey we should start a punk band. White Bread thought he was being serious and agreed. White Bread was starting to learn to play the guitar. Tripple NIPPLE had no clue at how to play anything. So they needed a drummer and a bass player. So they found Eric Stanciel who was already a close friend. He was already in a band called MailBoxes & the Blue Machine but he agreed to become Chicken Wang and play drums for IRISH CONFETTI. So they started to play songs that Tripple NIPPLE and White Bread wrote. They also learned to do songs by groups like THE RIVERDALES, THE QUEERS, MINOR THREAT, NOFX, RANCID, GUTTERMOUTH, GREENDAY, and FURIOUS GEORGE.
