Trina suddenly sat straight op. She was bathed in sweat and breathing hard. "I must have had a bad dream," she thought, all though she couldn't remember anything. She looked over at the clock, 4:03am, it read. She glanced over at Taylor and Zac, they were still asleep ang looked peacful. She stood up and looked at Ike. From the expression on his face, it looked as though he was having a great dream. She was wide awake by now, so she decided to go downstairs and watch TV. She flicked threw the stations and found one of her fave shows, Dick Van Dyke. It was her favorite episode, too. The one where aliens come that have to do with walnuts. *AUTHORS NOTE: If you watch that show, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about* After Dick Van Dyke, her next favorite, I Love Lucy, came on. She watched that until 5 and then watched the news. "Our top story this morning," the reporter began, "three people were killed tonight in Oklahoma City. They were indentified as Sherri and Steven Kelser and their 16 year old daughter, Karly. Their other daughter, Trina, is yet to be found. If anyone has any information on her where abouts, please contact the station at 736-5989." "Oh, my God!" Trina yelled at the top of her lungs, not caring if she woke anyone up. Then she colapsed onto the couch and began to cry. About five minutes later, she felt strong arms around her. She looked up to find Ike sitting next to her. "What's wrong?" "The news....my parents.....Karly.....looking for me!" That was all she could get out, she was still in shock. "What?" The reporter came on again, repeating the statement. "Oh, my God!" Ike said when he heard, "hold on. I'm gonna get mom and dad and everyone else." "Hurry!" Soon, seven dreary eyed Hansons appeared at the foot of the steps. "What's going on?" Walker asked Trina. "I'll tell them, Trina," Ike said, giving her a hopeful look. Isaac told them the whole story. As he was, Taylor came and sat by her. Immeadiatly she hugged him, just for something to hold on to. Trina cried for about 10 minutes in Taylor's arms while the rest of the family tried to give words of comfort. "Why don't contact the station, then you can try to get some sleep, Trina," Walker said. As Walker called the station, Isaac, Taylor, Trina and Zac went back up to their room. There was an awkward silence, until Trina said, "I can't believe this is happening!" "Say whatever you want and cry all you want. It will help," Zac said, unusally serious. "How would you know?!? You never had your parents or a sibling die!" Ike asked Zac to go out to the hall. "Just let her go. She's upset right now, but don't take her words to heart." "All right." "Why don't you take dad's advice and try to get some sleep?" Taylor asked. "He's not my dad and you guys can sleep if you want, but I'm not!" "All right. Good night everyone," Isaac said as he turned off the light. Isaac, Taylor and Zac fell asleep listening to Trina's crying.
