I am a student at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where I am completing my second year of undergraduate study striving for a degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology. I am a member of the MSU's Women's Ice Hockey Club Team and of MSU's chapter of Alpha Phi Omega(APO). I have played goalie in women's ice hockey for four years. At MSU I work with Dr. John Kruger, DVM, at the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Back home in Kentwood, Michigan, I am a part-time kennel attendant at Woodland Veterinary Clinic; this past summer, I also worked full-time as a zookeeper aide at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. Other things I love include animals, giving blood, reading, writing, eating, and sports.
