Almost Tears
On my reaction to when the puppy could not come to my open house
I don't know why
I don't know why
There are these long, awkward pauses
I don't know why
I ever thought you could come
it could ever really happen.
But I must have somehow
Thought it would work out,
Because now I am almost crying
