Live My Life

(Hiding Out Soundtrack - 1988)
I tell you baby, this is no way to live
Make sacrifies, 'til there's nothing to give
Everyone says there's rules to obey
I can't follow when things never change

Holding my chequebook, got a leak in the pipe
Food on the table, but the landlord's knocked twice
I want more than the shit on my back
I've worked too hard just to repeat the past

Satisfaction can be hard to find
I go crazy keeping it all inside

Ain't nobody's business
How I live my life
I learnt my lesson
Whether it's wrong or right
Ain't nobody baby
Gonna tell me how
I should live my life
Do live my way now

The roof is leaking, stack of pillows on my bed
No way to wake up, all the dreams in my head
Phone don't ring, got no man on the line
Things could be better but I still feel fine

Who can say what tomorrow will bring
You give nothing, expecting everything

Ain't nobody's business
How I live my life
I learnt my lesson
Whether it's wrong or right
Ain't nobody baby
Gonna tell me how
I should live my life
Do live my way now

Satisfaction can be hard to find
I go crazy keeping it all inside

Ain't nobody's business
How I live my life
I learnt my lesson
Whether it's wrong or right
Ain't nobody baby
Gonna tell me how
I should live my life
Do live my way now

Fear Not The Sword My Son

(Freddie as F.R.0.7 Soundtrack - 1992)
Fear not the sword my son
And you will be the gallant one
Those that will stand in your way
Will have a greater price to pay
Fear not the sword my son

Search and search and trying to find
The trilogy heart, soul and mind
I do not need to lead the blind
The greater truth I have to find

Sticks and stones may break my bones
They cannot penetrate my soul
They cannot penetrate my soul

Fear not the sword my son
And you will be the gallant one
Those that will stand in your way
Will have a greater price to pay
Fear not the sword my son

See the gods in many forms
The wisdom that could teach us all
And through the looking glass I see
The fear that hides alone in me

Sticks and stones may break my bones
They cannot penetrate my soul
They cannot penetrate my soul

Fear not the sword my son
And you will be the gallant one
Those that will stand in your way
Will have a greater price to pay
Fear not the sword my son

No, no
Fear not the sword my son

Lift up your face into the sun
Though you may be the only one
Inside you'll find the strength to say
This is my life, this is my day

This is my day
This is my day
This is my day

Fear not the sword my son
And you will be the gallant one
Those that will stand in your way
Will have a greater price to pay
Fear not the sword my son

The Crying Game

(The Crying Game Soundtrack - 1992)
I know all there is to know about the crying game
I've had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses, then there are sighs
And then before you know where you are
You're sayin' goodbye

One day soon I'm gonna tell the moon about the crying game
And if he knows maybe he'll explain
Why there are heartaches, why there are tears
And what to do to stop feeling blue
When love disappears

I know all there is to know about the crying game
I've had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses, then there are sighs
And then before you know where you are
You're sayin' goodbye

Don't want no more of the crying game
Don't want no more of the crying game
Don't want no more of the crying game
Don't want no more of the crying game

The Crying Game's plot: An unlikely kind of friendship develops between Fergus, an Irish Republican Army volunteer, and Jody, a kidnapped British soldier lured into an IRA trap by Jude, another IRA member. Fergus adopts the name "Jimmy" and gets a job as a day laborer. He also starts seeing Dil, who knows nothing about Fergus' IRA background. But there are some things about Dil that Fergus doesn't know, either...

Felidae

Living the life of contempt and of luxury
Sucking on bones, sipping white wine
A superior cat - proud and divine

Welcome To Your Life (Woop, Woop)

(Welcome to Woop Woop Soundtrack - 1998)
Ruff ruff

I was down and I was blind
Let my heart control my mind
Love was cruel and so relentless
You left me ruined and so defenseless

Now I can't live without your love
All the sweetness has turned to vile
No I can't live without your touch
What's a fool to do

Welcome to your life ruff ruff
To this psycho's paradise
Where love is cruel and so unkind
Don't let your heart control your mind

I was young and so in love
I thought the gods had sent you from above
You were cruel and so relentless
You were my ruin you left me so defenseless

Now I can't live without your love
All the sweetness has turned to vile
No I can't live without your touch
What's a fool to do without you

Welcome to your life ruff ruff
To this psycho's paradise
Where love is bruised and so unkind
Don't let your heart control your mind

Da da da die da da dah
Welcome to your life
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Aye aye aye
Aye aye aye aye aye aye
Ruff ruff

Welcome to Woop Woop's plot: A con artist escapes a deal gone wrong in New York and winds up in the Aussie outback in a strange town whose inhabitants are an oddball collection of misfits.

Try Not To Be Afraid

(Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down The Wind- 1998)
Don't be afraid

Try not to be afraid
So many things can happen
But nothing's ever quite as bad
As it might've been

I'll give you all I've got
You know I can protect you
And try and stop you shedding even
One more single tear

Shelter from the storms
Refuge from the world outside
Safety from the danger
Escape from all the disappointments
That time has passed

Healing all the wounds
The vanishing of nightmares
And to endless torture nights
And troubled sleep at last

This is the vow I made
I see it all come true now
And all you have to do for me
Try not to be afraid

I swear I'll be with you
This promise that I made
You will always be with me
Try not to be afraid

Think of everything you've got
Try not to be afraid
Try not to be afraid
Try not to be afraid

Shelter, refuge, safety and escape
Think of everything you've got
Don't you be afraid
Try not to be afraid
Think of everything you've got
Try not to be afraid
Think of everything you've got
Try not to be afraid

La Barque

(Le Libertin Soundtrack - 2000)
Watching you leave
Your words no comfort to me
Love was mine
To live and to breathe
But you take it and leave a wound in me
Ooh

There was a time
You would have killed to be mine
Now sorrow leaves me behind
All the laughter has turned to stone
Laughter has turned to stone inside
Laughter has turned to stone inside
Ooh

(Chant)

Crushed by the deed
Now words are all I believe
Only truth can comfort and heal
'Cause your love put a wound
A wound in me
Bringing me down so senselessly
Stone in your eyes
How very thinly disguised
How you murder our truth with your lies
But truth it was always home
Yes, truth it would always lead us home
Lead us home

(Chant)
