It's looking like it'll end up in my 1968 AMC Ambassador!!
This two door Ambo is tagless so whenever I take it to a cruise, it draws a LOT of attention.
I'm constantly asked..."WHAT kinda car is this??!!"
It's currently powered by a 343 4BBL engine turning a Borg-Warner automatic trans and sports a "Rattle Can Black" paint job.
It'll end up with a 500 lb-ft, 484 hp 401 4BBL & 6 speed Tremec Manual Transmission.
I'm looking at a set of Thorley exhaust cut-outs with at least a 4.11 Posi all wrapped in a still tagless black cherry body.
I plan to go with a GM color used on the 87 Chevy called Dark Maroon Metallic, paint code 79U.
You can check back here now and then to see what progress is made.
Be forwarned however, it'll be a slowwwwwwwww process.
