Accomplishments
1986-2003 – Music Educator serving as adjunct faculty at North Central Michigan College. Taught Classical and Jazz piano as well as Pipe Organ.
Memberships held include MTNA and AGO. Affiliated with Crooked Tree Arts Council.
1987 – Performed an original composition entitled “Out West, Variations on a Western Theme” in recital at Bay View Conservatory.
1987-1988 – Jazz Trio/ Quartet performed at the Holiday Inn, Gaylord, MI.
1988 – Rehearsal accompanist for Michigan Opera Company production of “La Boheme”.
1988-1990 - Performed with 17 Piece Big Band at Boyne Falls Convention Center, Boyne Falls, MI.
1989-1998 – House Pianist at Stafford’s Perry Hotel in Petoskey, MI.
1994-1997– Minister of Music, First Presbyterian Church in Boyne City, MI.
1997-2003 – Accompanied the Northern Michigan Chorale and the Little Traverse Choral Society.
2000 – Orchestra leader for joint community production of the “Phantom of the Opera”.
2000-2003 - Regular performances as soloist and with House Trio/Quartet at the Grand Hotel, Mackinaw Island, MI.
1998-2003 – Accompanist at the Petoskey United Methodist Church. Worked with adult choir, senior girl’s ensemble, praise band and adult hand bell choir.
2000-2003 – Performed in Concert at the Petoskey Jazz Festivals with 3 to 6 piece ensembles.
2001-2003 – Performed with the Crooked Tree Orchestra in programs including Aaron Copeland’s “Rodeo” and the Pergolesi “Stabat Mater”.
2003- Trio performed at 'Bakers Keyboard Lounge' in Detroit
2003-2007 - Performed as soloist and with Trios/Quartets at the Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta, GA.
2003-2007 - Held Music Directorships at Southminster Presbyterian and Ebenezer Untied Methodist churches in the Atlanta area. Performed with the 'Lucia Celebration' choir at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and Glenn Memorial Methodist on the campus of Emory University.
2007 - Performed for a Live Painting event with artist Mathias DuHamel from Paris, France at the Timothy Michael Gallery in Roswell, GA.2008 - Performed for the "Atlanta Jazz and Blues" Television series broadcast on Comcast cable TV channel 25 in Atlanta.2008 - On stage video recording for Columbian Chemicals corporate promo at Atlanta Symphony Hall2008 - Won Honorable mention for "Waltz in the Park from the 2008 Billboard World Song Contest2009 - Performed with Motown Group "The Drifters" onstage at Bay View Auditorium in Northern Michigan2009 - 2013 Resumed position at Petoskey United Methodist Church
Current Affiliations include American Federation of Musicians and ASCAP.
