Well, I thought I'd add a little bit more about myself on this page since very few people stumble into it. A lot of people always wonder why I don't have any personal information about me on my page. One reason being that when I first decided to put a website together, I wanted it to be a resource for African-American links that may be hard to find. As time went on, I realized there are already many sites like that, not to mention Black search engines and webrings. So this page kindof gets the back burner till I decide what to do with it.

I recently graduated college, and although I have much more free time, I still don't seem to manage to get around to this page. Most of my time is committed to looking for a job and preparing my son academically (home-schooling) for the first grade.

With that said, I am still generally a very quiet and shy person...and I know some people are like "yeah right everybody says that." But it's the truth. I didn't socialize much or network while in college and I'm paying the price for it now. It has been very stressful not being able to find and attain employment, but I am trying to stay positive.

I'm much better at putting my thoughts and ideas on paper. Some even go as far as saying I'm 'anti-social', but I would say that was a little extreme.

A few years ago, I took up a new interest in reading...I've actually almost become addicted to certain authors. I will include my reading list on this page also for those looking for a good read.
