Advocates for the Millennium

- Futuristic Acrostic Poems -

During the fourth week
of the Advocates for the Millennium Project
students wrote a variety of types of poetry.
The main theme for the poetry
was the future.

Hi how are you? I'm fine. I am writing you 2 acrostic poems, they mainly are a word goind down then sentences related to the world.

Crash will ruin computers
Often companys will not worry about this problem.
Millennium will be big!
Panic is what some people might choose to do.
Utter disgrace is what some people feel.
Technological breakdown is what is happening.
Everyone is trying to get ready for Y2k.
Reasurrence is what people need.
Some may need to be prepared for it already.

Being prepared would be good right about now.
Recently everyone is ok about this.
Earth is almost ready.
Adding help to this issue would work.
Kids aren't really affected by this issue.
Don't become a total nut case over this issue.
Open up to the world to be safe.
We in Edmonton are not becoming so panic-filled.
No one can be totally ready because they do not no what is going to happen.

An acrostic poem is a word that goes down and talks about the related topics to the word.

Companies might be greatly affected.
Other companies in different might not be affected.
Must spend big bucks on upgrades.
Put special devices in computers.
Unless they upgrade their computers they might have major problems.
To cure the bug they must upgrade their computers.
Every business will be affected with the Y2K.
Responses from different companies are mostly the same.
Some business's computers will break down.

Companies might be affected
Often companies didn't know about this until recently.
Many computers have been upgraded.
People don't like the Y2K idea
Almost everyone won't be affected.
No home computers won't be affected
I won't be affected much though.
Everyone is panicking about it.
Safe is what most people think computers are.
