Advocates for the Millennium
- Telecollaborative Project Goals -
We are fast approaching a new millennium. We are constantly being
bombarded with stories on tv, radio, newspapers and internet about the year
2000. What is the millennium anyway? What will the next 1000
years bring? Before we can predict those events we will take a look
at the last 2000 years, the events that shaped it and the people that are
remembered. What characterictics did they pocesses? Will these
be the same characteristics that people of the future will have? What will
you have to do now to prepare for the future? All of these questions
are things that we will consider in this unit.
