Manipulating images at Image Magick
Before trying to manipulate an image you
need a place to store it (homepage), and a
way to get it there (transload).
1.
Click-->htt
p://magick.iacta.com/index.html
2. Click on Instructions and Tutorials
and read and familiarize yourself with the
various functions, what they do and how to
use them. Good stuff here, but the only way
to learn is try it.
3. Navigate to the image
you want to
manipulate.
4. Push the Go To key. This url must end
in .gif or .jpg to be placed on a web page.
5. Hold Cmd key and push A. This
highlights the url.
6. Hold Cmd key and push C. This
memorizes the hightlighted text.
7. Push Recent key.
8. Select and click on the Image Magick
Index Page, this shows as untitled in recent
folder.
9. Click on Use Image Magick Studio.
10.Click on the text field beside url.

empty.
12. Hold Cmd and push V. This copies the
url of your primary image into the field.

image, select output.
16. Click format and select what you want
your image to be. Jpgs are better quality
(read slower loading). Gifs show less detail
but can be animated.
17. Select file type usually single, or
multiple for animated gif.
18. Press output.
19. On the next screen click on
Transload.
20. When you get to the transloader you
only need to enter new name, complete with
format (i.e. altered.gif).
21. Click transload! Zap. Etc.
This procedure can be shortened using
favorites, shortcuts, and utilities.
