Through My Eyes    Through my eyes    I see hope      Where there is only dispair    Through my eyes                 I see a kinder place           Where there is much torment      Through my eyes       I see peace     Where there is only war Through my eyes                      I see a child, carefree and innocent                       Inside each stressed and troubled adult    Through my eyes                   I see a pot of gold      At each rainbow's end        Through my eyes        I see joy               Where sadness overwhelms          Through my eyes                     I see compassion                     Where others sit in judgement               If the world could see what I see                         even if for but a moment                      perhaps the world see the things I see.                                                          Michelle                                                           August 1998
