Powerline Steering Bellcranks

Looks Good.

When i first got the truck, it steered great, but after I started beating it up a lot, the steering got more and more sluggish until it could barely move at all. I didn't really like the plastic bellcranks anyways cause the look weak, so that was my excuse to get these. Also, for only about $25, it's a pretty good deal.

The Bellcranks

They are extremely lightweight, about the same as the plastic ones, but you can tell that they are a lot stiffer which should make for quicker, stronger steering. The anodizing looks nice and even; they are well made in every way.

Bearings Too!

In addition to the aluminum bellcranks, I also ordered a set of four ball bearings to replace the cheap plastic bushings that the truck comes with. I read about this on the MaxxTraxx forums, and it sounded like a good idea. Bearings will make the steering smoother and a bit more precise.

So once I put that stuff on, the steering was nice again, until I took it to the track that is. After I beat up the truck again, I guess the mud and dust got into the steering and made it sluggish again. Oh well, it was still worth it :)
