The wolf was here before man ever was. When man entered the big picture we just kept building,cutting down the forests and destroying many homes for wildlife. All the wolves want is a place to call home. The earth was once a great plain, with plenty of room for everyone. But we keep pushing the animals back farther and farther. Soon they won't have a place to go. That is why we have so many animals on the Endangered Species List. Who are we to deprive these beautiful animals their lives....
Let's talk about the Endangered Species List a little more. So many animals are on that list because of us...Man. We deplete their food sources,hunt them for sport,kill them off with pollution and kill them because they become a nuisance. If we did that to another human being we would be in prison. But to do these things to an animal seems to be alright. What kind of rational thinking is that....It's not.
I shudder to think that one day Man will be on the Endangered Species List. And the way we are going it will be soon. What kind of life could we possibly have without animals. For instance, your family dog, you come home from a hard day at work. Who is always waiting at your door for you....your dog. Man's best friend. Well guess what?...The wolf is your loving dog's great grandfather.. So now do we start killing all of the dogs?...no, that wouldn't be fair would it? so why are we killing the wolf...
I remember when the film "OLD YELLER" came out. Everyone cried when old yeller turned wild and had to be shot. So why don't we shed tears when a wolf gets shot.......
