WELCOME TO MICHIGAN
JUDICIAL ACCOUNTABILITY & INTEGRITY LAW
A Proposed Voter Ballot Initiative to the Michigan Constitution

KEY MICHIGAN LEGISLATORS & COMMITTEES

The elected representatives posted on this page are essential contacts since they are either on the Judiciary Committees, or in leadership positions. It is important that the elected people from your own district be contacted also about judicial immunities and accountability legislation. Also PLEASE MENTION THIS WEB SITE WHENEVER CONTACTING THE ELECTED ON JUDICIAL ACCOUNTABILITY ISSUES!

There are some states that do not have voter ballot initiatives and these states have to rely on constituents "hoping" that the elected representatives will pass legislation on judicial immunities and accountability legislation.

Michigan is a state that provides for petitions to be filed with the Secretary of State to allow issues to be placed on the general election ballot for the voters to decide. There is no reason not to contact your own elected officials, county commissioners, local judges, and the Office of the Attorney General, inform them, and request that judicial immunities and accountability legislation be considered and presented through the normal legislative processes.

It is anticipated and an intention to place copies of letters from elected officials on this web site by anyone who will forward copies of these to me to be posted here so that others may be able to see what position these legislators may take, or even avoid taking a position. These letters will also be forwarded to the press for further consideration.

One word of notice I wish to make clear is that many people overlook the County Commissioners. These are elected individuals and the county commissioners approve the budget for the local county courts, the prosecuting attorney's office, the county sheriff, and other county agencies. The state funds that come to the county level and federal funds that come to the state are also disbursed by the county commissioners. As I have been involved with legal issues I have discovered the "power" of the local county commissioners and considering the "trickle up" theories many advocates miss the importance of county commissioners. Some of these elected commissioners go on the be Congressional Representatives and Senators so I must encourage people to take a closer look at their government by considering what goes on at the county level throughout the county commissioners.

A list of Michigan judges may be found here: http://www.supremecourt.state.mi.us/directories/all.htm
and here: http://www.supremecourt.state.mi.us/directories/county/circuit1.htm and here: http://www.supremecourt.state.mi.us/directories/county/probate1.htm and here: http://www.supremecourt.state.mi.us/directories/county/district1.htm

You can also go to your local county clerk's office and ask for a free copy of a County Directory which will have addresses of the public agencies, elected officials, and county officials. This is a very useful booklet to have and every court I have ever been in I have obtained one of these County Directories since they are free and have an abundance of information.

This web page is placed to provide contact information, addresses, and telephone numbers of these elected officials. All persons will be placed on a single column to the left of the page for the convenience of those persons who know how to "copy and paste" and transfer the information to your own word processor for easy addressing of letters and envelopes.

I strongly encourage everyone to start writing the individuals listed here, as well as your own elected representatives, and raise the issues of judicial abuses and immunities. There is a need for congressional investigations and legislative considerations on these issues that is long overdue.
