Bighorn National Forest is located in northcentral Wyoming, just west of Buffalo and Sheridan. The mountain range rises up from the land below making it quite a site as one drives in. There is an abundance of hiking trails, rustic campgrounds, wildlife, waterfalls, and rivers. The Cloud Peak Wilderness, which encompasses much of the higher ground inside the National Forest and offers striking views and over 100 miles of hiking.
