On the expedition the Blackfoot had a bloody skirmish with Lewis.  One of Lewis's men stabbed a Blackfoot, who fled and then fell to the ground and died.  Lewis shoot a Blackfoot  warrior who was trying to steal his horse.
    Pierre Cruzatte was killed by a Blackfoot.
    The Blackfoot had a very interesting language.
