Carrie: I know. I had to try and find that woman, Mike. Marlena went with me and we went to look for her. I begged her to help us, and she forced us to leave. I failed, Mike.

Mike: No...you didn't fail.

Carrie: What?

Mike: She went to Winston and Lewis. She told them she drugged me to rob me. She told them that you made her realize that she had to come clean about me. Carrie, they just gave me the job of Chief of Staff.

Carrie: Oh my God! I don't believe this! Yes, I DO believe this! This is the best. (She literally jumps into his arms and hugs him tightly) Mike, this is the most amazing news!

Mike: I owe this all to you. You never gave up on me. (Carrie pulls away and looks up at Mike)

Mike looks at Carrie, and their eyes lock. Everything between them loosens, and their lips meet. Their kiss grows as they let go of everything around them. Fireworks explode overhead as their kiss deepens, and everything from the outside world is cut off. It is just Carrie and Mike.
