Mike's conversation with Craig and Nancy after finding out that Ali has been saying
some incriminating things about them. They are on the terrace at the hospital.
Craig: Okay, Mike. What's the problem?
Mike: You two are the problem.
Nancy and Craig look at each other nervously.
Nancy: What?
Craig: Really?
Mike: Yeah, really. I just found out that Ali McIntyre has been saying some very
interesting things about you.
Craig: Well, like what?
Mike: Like you were behind everything she did...
Craig: Oh, come on.
Mike: Like you lied and manipulated and orchestrated my getting fired. Like you used her
obsession with me and my relationships with Carrie for your own selfish ends.
Craig: She said all that?
Mike: Yeah, and in great detail.
Craig: I'm sure she did.
Nancy: Wait, Mike...Did she tell you she's also starring in the Ice Capades next week?
Come on, hon, you can't believe anything she says - she's crazy!
Craig: She's crazy, Mike!
Mike: Nothing Ali says can be used as evidence, so I can't prove this. But listen to me,
my family practically owns this hospital. My grandfather founded it, my father worked here for
years, and I am the third generation...
Craig: (interrupting) Yeah...
Mike: Shut up! I am the third generation of Horton doctors who work here. I am not going
to allow you or anybody else to drag this place through the mud. So you can officially consider
yourself on probation. Whether I'm in town, whether I'm out of town, you will be watched and
very closely. Just don't you ever underestimate my grandmother. Because she sees and hears
almost everything that goes on and if she or any other member of the Horton family sees you
doing anything that they don't even like - you're out on your ears! Got it? Good!
Mike walks away angrily, storming through the door to the hospital. Nancy and Craig just
stare at the ground, sheepishly.
