At the two-player vs. screen, enter the Kombat Kode 302 213. Then, exit the match and go to the options menu. Now highlight "Versus Screen Enabled" and hold Block + Run for ten seconds. The following cheat options will now be available. Note: Only one of the following cheat options can be used at a time.
Enable the "Endings" option on the cheat menu. Then to see a character's ending, start a game in arcade mode and defeat just one character.
Enable the "Fatalities 1" option on the cheat menu. Then to finish your opponent, hold Down and press High Punch. This will let any character perform their first fatality.
Enable the "Fatalities 2" option on the cheat menu. Then to finish your opponent, hold Down and press High Punch. This will let any character perform their second fatality.
Enable the "Level Fatalities" option on the cheat menu. Then to finish your opponent, hold Down and press High Punch. This will let any character perform their level fatality.

Enter "Group Mode" and beat the game with all sixteen characters. Then, after this has been accomplished, select any character and begin a match. Now your character will play as Meat with all the moves of the character that was selected.
Beat the game with Shinnok. Then, select the Invisible icon at the bottom of the select screen. Now move Up(3), and Left once to highlight Shinnok's icon, then press Run + Block.
Beat the game with Reiko. Then, go to versus mode and enter the Kombat code 012 012. Exit the match and go to the character selection screen. Select the Invisible icon at the bottom of the select screen. Now move Up(2), and Left once to highlight Reiko's icon, then press Run + Block.
Beat the game with Kai. Then, start a new game with Kai and his weapon will be Raiden's lighting staff.
Enter "Kombat Theatre" mode, highlight the desired character, and press Block.
Go to the character selection screen and highlight a character. Then, hold Block and press any button to rotate their picture. You must rotate a character’s picture twice to enable their second costume, except for Sonya and Tanya. Their pictures must be rotated three times. Rotate any other character’s picture three times to enable their third costume.
Go to the character selection screen, highlight a character, and change their costume twice (Block + any button 3 times). Now that character will have their alternative weapon.
Enter the following codes at the two-player vs. screen (when you see the character drawings facing each other). You will see two three-digit number displays at the bottom. The first three correspond to controller one, the second to controller two. The numbers stands for the number of times you have to press Low Punch, the second for Block, and the third for Low Kick.
