Scully To Direct The X-Files?

Following in the footsteps of her co-star, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson (Special Agent Dana Scully) may get a shot at the director's chair for an episode of the hit Fox series The X-Files. The About.com X-Files fan Web site reported that the show's production company, Ten Thirteen, will let Anderson direct one of the shows later this season.

X-Files co-executive produce Vince Gilligan came up with an idea that is happening this season with the series that sounds like fun. According to Entertainment Weekly Online, an upcoming episode of the program will be shot COPS-like on shakey-cam and video. The episode's story will follow a rookie cop on his beat wherein he bumps into Scully and Mulder. Gilligan
