President Grant McMurray presented a letter to the church on March 9 detailing some changes in church leadership. Howard S. (“Bud”) Sheehy, Jr. was released from the First Presidency. Everett Graffeo was released as the Presiding Evangelist. Peter Judd was indicated as Grant’s new counselor in the First Presidency, Danny Belrose was named as the new Presiding Evangelist, and Bunde Chibwe and Leonard Young will become Apostles. Grant released the chair to Ken Robinson to preside over consideration of these changes. Pictures of those accepting new responsibilities are on a later page.
